Honor and Integrity System presents at AAC&U Symposium
Camilla Roberts, director of the honor and integrity system and current president of the International Center for Academic Integrity, joined colleagues from both ICAI and the Association of American College and Universities to plan and assist in moderating an eight-session symposium, "Renewing the Legitimacy of Learning: A Symposium on Academic Integrity" on Oct. 21-22.
The two-day symposium examined the scope of academic integrity challenges and provided practical strategies for administration and faculty.
Roberts moderated the panel "The Student Lived Experience," which also included K-State students Lauren Dock, master's student in animal science, and Brooks Nichols, senior in animal science. Both Dock and Nichols serve on the honor council.
Roberts also moderated the panel "Recommendations from Honor System Campus Leaders" and served as a panelist in the closing session "Next Steps: Call to Action."
