Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from Oct. 25-29.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. The vaccine section has been updated with information about the vaccine requirement, exemptions, FAQ, vaccination documentation and a timeline of key dates.
K-State will comply with federal COVID-19 vaccine requirement.
The federal government is requiring all Kansas State University employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Wednesday, Dec. 8.

In an Oct. 28 K-State Today letter, President Richard Myers encourages all K-Staters to continue support for each other as the university returns to traditional fall activities and works through the employee vaccine requirement.
How to find a COVID-19 vaccine.
COVID-19 vaccines are free and widely available. There are multiple ways for K-Staters to find a COVID-19 vaccine.
K-Staters should upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards.
K-State faculty, staff and student employees must submit proof that they will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and should submit vaccine documentation by Monday, Nov. 29. Proof of employee COVID-19 vaccination can be submitted by uploading the necessary documentation to the myLafene+ patient portal.
COVID-19 booster vaccines are now available at Lafene Health Center.
Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 booster shots are available by appointment through Lafene Health Center.
K-State is offering COVID-19 vaccination incentives for faculty and staff.
K-State faculty and staff can win prizes — including Apple Watches, Apple MacBook Pros, K-State Union gift cards and more — by getting the COVID-19 vaccination.
