Sociology graduate students make strong showing at the Midwest Sociological Society annual meeting in Chicago
Ten sociology graduate students went to Chicago to present their research projects at the Midwest Sociological Society meeting.
Sarah Beach, Rebekah Carnes, William Chernoff, Krystal Cooper, Nodira Davlyatova, Ana Luiza de Campos Paula, Nicole John, Kristin Kelly, Iveta Kesane and Arjun Kharel presented papers and served as discussants and presiders of different sessions. This strong presence of K-State students at the regional professional association meeting was made possible by travel grants from K-State Graduate Student Council, the department of sociology, anthropology and social work, and the Midwest Sociological Society.
