Final concert for 2012-13 Hale Concert Series
Join the Friends of the K-State Libraries for the final offering of the 2012-2013 Hale Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.
This encore concert features Chris Thompson, baritone, and Steve Spooner, piano, back for a reprisal of their popular 2010 concert. Thompson is a K-State alumnus who studied with Jennifer Edwards and now teaches at Missouri State University. He and Spooner, faculty member at the University of Kansas, will perform music by Purcell, Beethoven, Liszt, Ravel, Fairouz and Bolcom.
Stay after the concert for wine and dessert and the chance to chat with friends and view the K-State sesquicentennial exhibit in Hale's fifth-floor gallery.
