Practice self-care with free pizza and more on April 21

Submitted by Morgan Poole

Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work invites you for free pizza, games and a workshop on self-care from 4-7 p.m. April 21 in the Big 12 Room in the K-State Student Union.

Leading up to April 21 main event, find us at a booth outside of the Union to kick off our three-day mental health event. Scheduled events include:

Monday, April 18 — What makes you human? Find our booth in front of the Union from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to chat with a Phi Alpha member and take home a Polaroid selfie to remind yourself of how amazing you are.

Wednesday, April 20 — How do you practice self-care? Come find our booth outside of the Union from  10 a.m.-2 p.m. to share positive conversations about self-care with Phi Alpha members and take home your very own container of Playdough to help you de-stress after a long day.

On Thursday, April 21, join us from 4-7 p.m. in the Union's Big 12 Room in the K-State Student Union from 4-7 p.m. to socialize with like-minded people; learn how to prioritize self-care in a workshop with Cheri Koochel, a licensed master social worker; and then practice self-care by treating yourself to free pizza and drinks while we play KaHOOT and make connections with one another.

Contact Morgan Poole, Phi Alpha Honor Society president, if you have any questions.
