New ambassadors to promote K-State Student Union, Union Program Council
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
Promoting the K-State Student Union and the Union Program Council to prospective students, on-campus organizations and the Manhattan and university community will be the job of a select group of Kansas State University students for the 2013-2014 school year.
Seven students will serve as Union Ambassadors for the coming school year. The ambassadors represent the university's Greek communities, residence halls, Jardine Apartments, scholarship houses, the general campus community and the Manhattan community. Ambassadors are expected to assist with major campus recruitment events and be actively involved within their respective area of focus.
The 2013-2014 Union Ambassadors are:
Robert Gorton, junior in construction science and management, Manhattan; Mary Jackson, junior in anthropology, and Billy Ueblehart, junior in accounting and finance, both from Overland Park; and Brenna Ford, junior in communication studies, Prairie Village.
From out of state: Austin Peterson, sophomore in history, Liberty, Mo.; Shelon Knox, sophomore in accounting, St. Louis, Mo.; and Abby Adams, freshman in marketing, Grand Island, Neb.
