Vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging candidate open forum today

Vice president for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging candidate MarTeze Hammonds, chief diversity officer at Purdue University Fort Wayne, will present an open forum from 1:30-2:30 p.m. today, Sept. 8, in Banquet rooms B and C in the K-State Alumni Center.
Hammonds will provide a brief introduction of his career, his educational philosophy, an overview of how he will address the opportunities and challenges at Kansas State University, and will provide an analysis of the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Belonging Strategic Plan.
Search committee co-chairs Shari Crittendon and Thomas Lane will moderate today's open forum. Questions can be submitted in advance via email to Crittendon and Lane at sfcrittendon@k-state.edu or talane@k-state.edu, respectively, or asked live during each open forum.
Application materials are available on the president's search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in person, the open forum will be streamed live and archived on the president's search website. There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on that website. The feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two days following the candidate's open forum and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.
Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Friday, Sept. 16.
