Middle East Speaker Series: 'Partisanship and Shifting American Public Attitudes on Israel and Palestine
The political science department invites students and faculty to the third event of the 2022 Middle East Speaker Series, "Partisanship and Shifting American Public Attitudes on Israel and Palestine" by Shibley Telhami, Anwar Sadat professor for peace and development at the University of Maryland.
The event will take place at 5 p.m. CDT Tuesday, Oct. 25, in 181 Hale Library. It is sponsored by the political science department and K-State Libraries.
Telhami also serves as director of the UMD Critical Issues Poll and is a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the board of the Education for Employment Foundation. He has long been active in foreign policy by serving in a variety of roles, including as an advisor to the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. mission to the United Nations.
