K-State dance ensemble to perform in Kansas City

Dancers from the K-State Contemporary Dance Ensemble will perform choreography from Stephen Loch, teaching assistant professor, at Modern Night at the Gem on Saturday, Feb. 4, in Kansas City. The performance is titled "There Once Was a River."

Modern Night at the Gem is Kansas City's premiere modern dance choreography showcase. This is the second consecutive year that dancers from K-State were selected for the performance. Order tickets online

Loch is a movement artist and teacher who got his professional start performing and teaching in Atlanta, Georgia, before returning to school and receiving his Master of Fine Arts in choreography from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. His choreography has been performed throughout Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri and North Carolina. Learn more about Loch.
