Presentation

Derek Leamer, a master's student in the GE Johnson Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science, recently presented his research topic to the Structural Engineers Association of Kansas and Missouri, or SEAKM, during a meeting of the Kansas City chapter at HNTB Corporation's office in Kansas City, Missouri.

Originally from Salina, Leamer is in his final semester of the accelerated concurrent bachelor's and master's degree program, working with his major professor Bill Zhang on corrugated web plate girders.

After graduating in May 2023, he plans to work as a structural engineer with Walter P. Moore in Kansas City, Missouri.
