Division of Continuing Education staff published by Continuing Higher Education Review
Sue Maes, dean, Jennifer Pfortmiller, affiliate site manager, Melinda Sinn, marketing and communication services director, and Rosanna Vail, communications specialist, in the K-State Division of Continuing Education authored an article, “Kansas State University: 2+2 Partnerships with Community Colleges,” in the Fall 2011 issue of the Continuing Higher Education Review, a professional journal of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association.
The article focuses on workforce development needs in the State of Kansas and how K-State has partnered with all 19 Kansas community colleges to make it possible for adults to earn degrees while staying in their home community. The article defines how K-State has built the 2+2 partnerships that benefit the university, the community college and the adult student.
