Provost names search committee for interim dean of College of Health and Human Sciences

Chuck Taber, provost and executive vice president, has appointed the search committee to lead an expedited search for an interim dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences. This search will be internal and open to current and qualified K-State employees. Debbie Mercer, dean of the College of Education, will chair the committee.
Search committee members are:
- Debbie Mercer, committee chair, professor and dean of the College of Education.
- Gwen Ferdinand-Jacob, director of Physician Assistant Program.
- Blake Gray, assistant professor of personal financial planning.
- Migette Kaup, professor of interior design and fashion studies.
- Brian Lindshield, professor and associate head of the food, nutrition, dietetics and health department.
- Mindy Markham, professor and head of the applied human sciences department.
- Timothy Musch, university distinguished professor of kinesiology.
- Kevin Roberts, professor and interim head of the hospitality management department.
The interim dean will take over leadership for Craig Harms, who is stepping down as interim dean. A national search will be conducted later for permanent leadership, with more details to come.
