Manhattan TubaChristmas is back for its 35 year

Submitted by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance

Sponsored by the K-State Tuba and Euphonium Studio and the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, the Manhattan TubaChristmas is back for its 35th year. The annual Manhattan TubaChristmas will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Manhattan Town Center mall.

TubaChristmas is a special event when persons who play the tuba, euphonium or baritone horn get together to play Christmas carols for the public. It happens across the nation from late November until Christmas. Musicians of all ages are invited to participate and everyone is invited to attend the performance. Many K-State students participate as well as community members whose ages range from 11 to 90.

Anyone interested in participating can find more information and rehearsal times at k-statetuba.com/tuba-christmas.html.
