Mechanical and nuclear engineering department awards graduate student scholarships

The Alan Levin Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering hosted a luncheon and award celebration for its graduate students on Nov. 30.

Each semester, graduate students apply for the Lu and Azer scholarships, and department faculty vote on those recipients. The scholarship recipients were announced by department head Steven Eckels and graduate program director Mingjun Wei.

The following graduate students are scholarship winners:

• Veeshal Modi, Naim Z. and Beverly J. Azer Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholarship. 
• Michael Akinseloyin, Pau-Chang Lu Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholarship. 
• Kuan-Lun Ho, Pau-Chang Lu Mechanical Engineering Graduate Scholarship.
