Hinman to perform with Kansas City Symphony

Dan Hinman, teaching assistant professor of trombone in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, will perform as a sub with the Kansas City Symphony at its concerts on Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, at the Kauffman Center in Kansas City.
The program features international violin soloist Joshua Bell and works by Ravel, Haydn, Connesson, Puts, Meyer and Heggie.
Hinman has served as principal trombone of the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra and played bass trombone in the BisMan Little Big Band. In high demand as a performer, he has also performed with the Fargo Moorhead Symphony, Opera Fayetteville Orchestra, Lone Star Wind Orchestra and Basically Basie Big Band. Learn more.
