Nikkel earns UPCEA professional certificate
Janice Nikkel, Global Campus program administrator, recently completed the UPCEA PCO professional certificate program. This program is designed for professionals interested in building their expertise and advancing their careers in the field of professional, continuing and online, or PCO, education.
To earn the professional certificate, Nikkel successfully completed five noncredit courses over a two-year period. In addition to the badge she earned for the professional certificate, Nikkel received badges for individual courses in the curriculum, which included:
- Program Planning and Oversight in Professional, Continuing, and Online Education
- Credentials Beyond Degrees: The Role of Professional, Continuing, and Online Educators in Credential Innovation
- Designing Equitable and Inclusive Programs, Pathways, and Partnerships
- Understanding the Adult Learner and Other Constituencies in Online and Professional Continuing Education
- Academic Strategic Planning in a Constantly Changing Environment
