Share feedback to improve education and advocacy for Kansas history

Submitted by Laura Perez

The Chapman Center for Rural Studies, a center of excellence in the College of Arts and Sciences, encourages university employees to share feedback on a local cultural organization that wants to better educate and advocate for Kansas history.

As a part of strategic planning, the Riley County Historical Society invites the public to provide feedback via a brief survey, available through July 1. Take the survey online.

The Riley County Historical Society collects, preserves and presents the heritage of Riley County and the state of Kansas, supporting, advocating for and promoting an interest and awareness of our local history and the Riley County Historical Museum for the benefit of all. The society is reviewing its mission and goals with an eye toward more engagement in its historic properties and educational programming.
