Prabhakar chairs cyber-physical systems conference
Pavithra Prabhakar, professor of computer science and Peggy and Gary Edwards chair in engineering in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering, chaired the 2024 IFAC Conference on Analysis and Design of Hybrid Systems at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Also chairing the conference along with Prabhakar was Luca Zaccarian from LAAS-CNRS, France, and University of Trento, Italy; and Majid Zamani from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
The conference brings together researchers and practitioners in the area of hybrid systems, with backgrounds in control, computer science, and operations research, to provide a forum for discussing and presenting recent results in the fields of hybrid and cyber-physical systems.
Prabhakar is an internationally recognized leader in the field of cyber-physical systems, AI and robotics with focus on design and analysis of high-confidence systems. Her pioneering work in this field has led K-State to rank 19 in the nation in the area of embedded and real-time systems.
