Lafene Health Center to offer massage therapy at the Rec
Beginning Aug. 7, Lafene Health Center will be offering massage therapy at the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Appointments for 30-minute massages for $30 can be scheduled through the myLAFENE+ patient portal or by calling 785-532-6544.
Massage therapy can help with stress relief, reduced muscle pain, headache relief, enhanced exercise performance, improved injury recovery, and a strengthened immune system.
Massage therapy is offered at Lafene Health Center to students, faculty and staff throughout the month on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, with 30-, 60- and 90-minute massages available.
