Celebrate the end of summer with free yoga in unique locations across campus

Submitted by Kathryn Harth

End your summer with a focus on your mental and physical well-being. Our classes are for all levels and abilities and are free to attend. The group's yoga and pilates leaders are volunteers from K-State and the community. All are welcome, and there are no requirements to attend — just bring your own yoga mat. Show up when you can, even if you have to be a little late or need to leave a little early.

The group will meet Monday, August 12, through Thursday, August 15, from 12:05-12:50 p.m. unless otherwise noted. View the full schedule and learn who will be leading.

  • Monday, Aug. 12 – McCain Lobby with Dan Swenson, class is 12:15-12:45 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 13 – The Beach Museum of Art’s UMB Theatre with David Mayes
  • Wednesday, Aug. 14 – K-State Student Union in the Cottonwood Room on the second floor with Kathryn Harth
  • Thursday, Aug. 15 – Hale Library in Room 181, next to the Cornerstone Cafe on the first floor, with Katie Larson leading a pilates class

To stay up to date about schedules, cancellations and upcoming events, join the K-State Noontime Yoga Facebook Group or sign up for the Noontime Yoga ListServ.

Noontime Yoga started in 2002 as a part of K-State’s Campaign for Nonviolence. Many thanks to all of our campus supporters for hosting this week and the leaders who donate their time and talents to continue this unique opportunity for the K-State family.
