College of Agriculture awards nearly $90,000 to graduate students
Multiple individuals or families have made it possible to financially assist graduate students connected to the College of Agriculture. Their gifts will have a lasting impact on students.
This year, nearly $90,00 was awarded to help students meet their financial obligations during their graduate education. Students from all departments in the college were offered the opportunity to apply. This year, 79 students submitted applications. Each application was reviewed by multiple graduate faculty members connected to the graduate programs. After review, 23 students were selected to receive awards.
The following students received the Robert Nunemacher Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is for students in high academic standing and financial need who are in a degree program related to farming or ranching.

- Mikayla Sue Spinler, animal sciences and industry
- Festus Kehinde Ajibefun, entomology
- Andrea Salazar-Auirre, entomology
- Chandler Lee Day, plant pathology
The following students received the Don C. Warren Scholarship in Genetics. The scholarship is for students conducting research that furthers the understanding of genetics.

- Rishabh Singh, agronomy
- Chantelle Croucamp, animal sciences and industry
- Danielle Marie Stock, animal sciences and industry
- Heather Dawn Forster, genetics
- Lawrence Tidakbi, plant pathology
- Ravi Bika, plant pathology
The following students received the Ron Wells Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is for students pursuing an interest in range management.

- Martin Menendez Coccoz, agronomy
- Emmanuel Uzoma Nwachukwu, horticulture and natural resources
The following students received the Dale W. and Frances V. Rake Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is for students with demonstrated leadership in sustainable agriculture research which encourages good stewardship of the earth and protects the environment.

The following students received the Nolan and Jean M. McKenzie Graduate Student Fellowship. The fellowship is for students of high merit and standing.
