Last Chance: Be Ready to Vote!

Submitted by Colene J. Lind

Wildcats, you live, study, work and pay taxes here. Why not vote here?

K-State students can update their registration to their current local address at ksvotes.org, entitling them to vote locally. But you must do so by October 15.

If you have previously voted in Kansas, use ksvotes.org to check that your name and address are up to date.
Have questions about registering or voting? Look for tables on Monday and Tuesday at these locations for non-partisan voter assistance:

• Kramer Dining Center, 5–7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14
• Derby Dining Center, 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14
• Student union from noon to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15

Kansans wishing to vote in the county of the permanent address can also use ksvotes.org to check their registration or request a mail-in ballot. K-Staters wishing to vote in another state can find state-specific information at rockthevote.org.

For those registered in Riley County, advance voting is Oct. 16-Nov. 4 in the Bluemont Room of the K-State Student Union. Check the Riley County website for times.

Find more information about registering and voting on the K-State ICDD website.
