Seeking research participants for Examining Affective Experiences study

Submitted by Moana Sargent

Moana Sargent, graduate student in psychological sciences, is seeking participants for thesis research, "Examining Affective Experiences." If you are a working professional or have had work experience, you can participate in this research.

The goal of the research is to strengthen psychological constructs — to be named during the study — by examining participants' associated experiences. Hopefully, this will improve participants' measurement and also serve as a first step toward understanding how certain emotions are experienced in the workplace. More information can be found on the first page of the survey.

The survey should take about 40-45 minutes, and part of that time includes playing an embedded online game. The rest of the survey consists of questions about what was experienced during the game and general individual difference information. It works best in Google Chrome.

The Institutional Review Board for Kansas State University has reviewed the proposal IRB-11991 and determined that it is exempt from further IRB review.
