Applications open for fall 2025/spring 2026 DASSA peer mentors
The DASSA Peer Mentoring program is now accepting applications for peer mentors for the fall 2025/spring 2026 academic year.
Peer mentors play a crucial role in supporting first-year students by fostering meaningful connections, promoting a sense of belonging, and helping students navigate academic and personal challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with mentees, beginning summer 2025.
- Attend and participate in K-State Kickoff, Aug. 14-17, 2025.
- Enroll in and attend LEAD 312: Peer Leader Practicum, three credit hours.
- Lead weekly peer mentoring sessions and assist with program activities.
