May we all take time to engage in the 2025 weeklong activities with an innovative spirit of reflection and action in honoring the legacy and life of Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. stated, "The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically." In a 1947 article, "The Purpose of Education," he also wrote, "Education should help people distinguish between truth and falsehood, reality and unreality, and fact and fiction."

Thank you for your leadership and support of the 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. weeklong celebration.
