LeAnn Brosius

LeAnn Brosius has been named interim executive director of the Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation, or OEIE, effective Jan. 19. She currently serves as assistant director.

As interim executive director, Brosius will provide strategic leadership, strengthen client relationships and oversee resource allocation, personnel management and fiscal operations to advance OEIE's mission and organizational goals. Brosius succeeds Cindi Dunn, who is retiring after years of dedicated service to the university.

"We appreciate Cindi and all the accomplishments OEIE achieved during her tenure as executive director," said Debbie Mercer, dean of the College of Education. "As we welcome LeAnn, we are confident that her leadership, vision and dedication will guide us through this transition with strength and purpose. LeAnn brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to OEIE's mission, and I have no doubt that under her stewardship, we will continue to thrive and move forward together."

With more than a decade of experience at OEIE, Brosius has held increasingly senior roles that highlight her leadership and impact. She has successfully led and supported the evaluation of more than 40 projects, serving both Kansas State University and external clients. Her work has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives that enhance OEIE's internal operations while amplifying its reputation for excellence among diverse client audiences.

Under her leadership, OEIE will continue to serve as a trusted and essential resource for the K-State community and its external partners. Brosius is excited to bring her experience and dedication to this role, working collaboratively with the OEIE team and partners to advance impactful evaluations and deliver forward-thinking solutions that contribute to K-State's vision of building a strong, sustainable next-generation land-grant university and becoming a more integrated "One K-State."

OEIE is relocating to Bluemont Hall this month. The office was established in 2000 and is affiliated with Kansas State University's College of Education. It provides comprehensive program evaluation services to a diverse clientele, including educational institutions, governmental agencies, foundations and nonprofits spanning disciplines such as agriculture, engineering, public health, education and workforce development.

By employing rigorous scientific methods and innovative approaches, OEIE helps clients demonstrate program impact, ensure accountability and make informed, data-driven decisions. Its multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to design evaluations tailored to the unique needs of varied projects and funding agencies.
