Tripodi, Haymaker present on 'The Other Wes Moore' as part of Faculty/Staff Lecture Series
On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Jenna Tripodi and Jessica Haymaker, coordinators for the Center for Advocacy, Response, and Education, will present on the 2015 university reading selection, "The Other Wes Moore."
Their lecture, "Privilege and the Intersectionality of Identities: A Complicated Reality," is scheduled for 7 p.m. in McVay Family Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building. It is free and open to the public.
Tuesday's presentation is the third and final lecture in the three-part series, "The Other Wes Moore: A Public Lecture Series." The lecture series draws upon the collective knowledge of the campus community to help everyone understand more about the issues raised in Moore's book.
