Mortar Board Senior Honor Society now accepting applications

Mortar Board National Senior College Honor Society is now accepting applications for its 2017-2018 class.
Members of Mortar Board live out the honor society's values of scholarship, leadership and service by helping others each day. Founded in 1918, the Kansas State Mortar Board chapter contains a group of 30 of the best and brightest men and women from the K-State campus. This organization allows students to step out of their comfort zone while exemplifying some of the greatest leadership attributes on our campus and throughout the Manhattan community.
Candidates for Mortar Board membership must have the following requirements:
- Completion of at least 75 credit hours as of Jan. 1.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Exemplary scholarship, leadership and service records — demonstrated via essay and resume.
- Commitment to Mortar Board activities throughout the academic year — August through May.
Applications are due at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, and can be found online.
