K-State student groups hosting suicide prevention and awareness walk April 8
Suicide affects the lives of millions in the U.S.; yet suicide prevention doesn't receive as much research funding as other leading causes of death. K-Staters can help create a culture that's smart about mental health, and most importantly, save lives.
Join members from Student Governing Association, Union Program Council, Peer Advocates for Mental Wellness and Success, and WellCat Ambassadors for an Out of the Darkness walk to raise funds and awareness Saturday, April 8, at Kansas State University. Together we can stand up to the stigma surrounding suicide and mental illness and help prevent suicide. Sign up for the Out of the Darkness walk online.
