Network and Etiquette Dinner for Graduate students Sept. 21
Join the Graduate Student Council for the third Networking and Etiquette Dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 in the Bluemont Room of the K-State Student Union.
The event will feature guest speaker Keira Mann, a K-State alumna and national etiquette certified professional. Mann will present an interactive session about fine dining etiquette, networking at conferences, conducting business at meetings, and handling meals on a job interview.
This event will include a networking session, three-course meal, and an opportunity to practice proper dining etiquette.
Additional information about the event:
- Check-in and networking will begin at 4:30 p.m., with dinner starting at 5 p.m.
- The three-course meal will include: First course — tomato bisque and dinner rolls; second course — vegetarian pasta or chicken parmigiana with fettuccine, seasoned whole green beans and roasted fingerling potatoes; third course — strawberry graham cracker cheesecake.
- The cost of the etiquette dinner is $20 for students. The price includes a three-course meal and refreshments before the dinner.

This event is part of the Graduate Student Council's Professional Development Workshop Series. K-State graduate students and postdocs who attend at least five professional development events hosted by the Graduate Student Council during the 2017-2018 academic year will be recognized with a professional development certificate.
