Make time for you with tips on prioritizing your well-being

With the semester in full swing, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. Making time for your academic, financial, emotional, physical and mental well-being is as important now as it is ever. Campus resources from the Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs can help you be your best self — inside and outside the classroom.
- Get 24/7 counseling support with TELUS Health — With counseling services available in more than 60 languages, the free TELUS Health Student Support app gives you 24/7 access to certified mental health professionals. Get started at k-state.edu/lafene/well-being/telushealth.
- Take care of all your health needs at Lafene Health Center — Lafene Health Center offers comprehensive medical care, including a pharmacy, massage therapy, allergy injections, physical therapy, primary care visits and much more. Better yet, Lafene's services are often the most affordable and convenient option for students. View all services and access the patient portal at k-state.edu/lafene.
- Attend individual or group therapy — If therapy seems like it might be a good fit for you, check out Lafene Counseling and Psychological Services, or CAPS. Lafene CAPS offers individual goal-oriented therapy, group therapy and workshops on a variety of topics. Students paying the student services fee get a limited number of free sessions! Schedule a same-day or next-day initial appointment at k-state.edu/counseling.
- Take home nutritious, culturally appropriate food from Cats' Cupboard — K-State's campus food pantry, Cats' Cupboard, is your spot for fresh, nutritious food, personal hygiene items and pantry supplies. Shopping is easy — and free! Simply bring your Wildcat ID card with you each time you visit, and get ready for delicious meals. Learn more at k-state.edu/cats-cupboard.
- Problem solve tough challenges with case managers — Some challenges are difficult to navigate on your own. Student Support and Accountability case managers are here to help. This non-clinical approach focuses on what students can accomplish to find success. Get help identifying solutions and developing skills, no matter what challenges you may be experiencing. - Find advocacy and support in the CARE Office — The Center for Advocacy, Response, and Education provides confidential, free and voluntary services and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, dating violence, stalking and sexual harassment. At CARE, you'll get assistance understanding and navigating university policies and procedures, and support in promoting survivors' academic success and personal wellness. - Take charge of your finances with peer financial counseling — Powercat Financial's peer financial counselors will help you understand your current financial situation or prepare for the future. Learn about budgets, credit, student loans, transitioning to work and creating a personalized financial plan. Schedule an appointment at k-state.edu/powercatfinancial.
