Greet respectfully
At the right moment, with the right person, touch can be very reassuring and a powerful form of support.

For others, a touch is intrusive and uncomfortable.

Our first contact should involve a handshake and a friendly greeting that includes both our and a Friend’s name. A "touch" is essentially an act of extending ourselves to Friends. The handshake should have life to it without overpowering. Culturally sensitive, nonsexual touching (or a gesture of respect, such as bowing one’s head) may play an important role in establishing rapport.

This physical contact can be an impressive affirmation of the radiance we talked about earlier.
