❖ Anger requires self-discipline
Emotional blindness, the result of emotional highjacking, is the result of giving in, letting anger take charge. We let it happen. Staying in control when feeling any strong emotion is very difficult.
If we let anger continue to grow, the more difficult it is to control. We have to look at the life cycle of anger, not just at the moment of its expression. Anger management means self-discipline.
