The “birth” of anger
Here is an even more challenging question. Anger can appear suddenly, without much warning. In most cases, though, even when anger seems to be sudden, there is a moment when it is "born." At this earliest starting point anger may be nothing more than mild frustration. The emotion may be so slight that it dips below the radar of our awareness. If you stopped at this point and turned your radar on brighter, how would your body be reacting?

Early recognition gives us the best opportunity to use anger in productive ways.
