2. “Anger and fear are closely associated” is false?
The more accurate answer is "true." Anger and fear are both responses to threat. The difference is our assessment of responsibility and capacity for dealing with the threat. If I am inclined to flee because the threat exceeds my capacity to respond effectively, I feel fear. If I feel obliged to respond and capable of responding, I feel anger toward the threat.
If while on a walk in the forest a bear appears, I feel fear. If I discover it's a college student engaging in a prank, I may feel angry.
