Children are vulnerable when sharing their dreams
Look over the comments you wrote. Did you ever hear something similar as a child? Sharing one’s dreams is a powerful yet delicate moment involving significant trust. A child is vulnerable to criticism and indifference at this moment of sharing. How an adult responds creates a potentially “life-pivoting” moment. A kind word becomes an encouragement while a mean-spirited comment can be immensely discouraging.
