Taiwanese Food Festival Feb. 24
Having the passion and proud of being Taiwanese, the K-State Taiwanese Student Association will host an event to introduce the culture and share the joy of traditional cuisine to people from all over the world.
The Taiwanese Food Festival — Taste of Traditional Bento will take place at noon Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Frith Community Center at Jardine Apartments. Homemade foods, desserts and trivia quiz games with prizes will be provided.
The menu will include glutinous oil rice with pork, stir-fried rice noodles with chicken, stewed beef shank, stir-fried mixed veggies, cucumber salad and traditional donuts.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Feb. 13 at the K-State Student Union.
