Join KAWSE for Women of Distinction Recognition Ceremony Sept. 19
The Kansas State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, known as KAWSE, will host the eighth annual Women of Distinction Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 19, in the K-State Student Union Bluemont Room. Please come as close as possible to 3:30 p.m. so you can mingle and get settled. The ceremony will begin at 3:45 p.m. with a reception to follow.
The ceremony recognizes women faculty members' academic achievements, such as earning tenure and promotion, being promoted to full professor, or winning a universitywide award.
All university staff, administrators, faculty and students are invited to attend. This is a child-friendly event, so bring your children if you would like.
