'FIRE BACK' with Jared Estes
Lafene Health Center and Student Governing Association will host speaker Jared Estes, who survived a fiery car crash caused by a three-time DUI offender that took the life of his young, beautiful wife. Estes will share his story of survival at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the Wildcat Chamber on the first floor of the K-State Student Union. This event is free to attend and open to the public.
His grueling recovery took him on a path that would either make or break him. Despite enduring an incredible loss and the pain of more than 50 surgeries for his life-threatening injuries, Estes made the choice to not just get back up, but to "FIRE BACK."
Estes' emotionally gripping presentation shines a light on the battles we all face and reminds us to use the weapons inside ourselves to fight our way back to brighter days.
