New Faculty Institute to host show-and-tell at Archives and Special Collections
Are you interested in learning about primary sources and special collections items here at K-State?
Join the New Faculty Institute from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Hale Library Room 581, as our archivists and special collections librarians offer a show-and-tell highlighting items in the collection along with a discussion of the ways that these materials have been used — or could be used — in teaching, research and engagement projects.
The show-and-tell will be followed by a Q&A and discussion session where we will talk as a group about potential uses of the items — ignite your creativity chatting with folks from across campus.
This event is made possible by a collaboration between K-State Libraries Archives and Special Collections and the New Faculty Institute. This event is open to all faculty and staff interested in learning about K-State Archives and Special Collections.
An RSVP is encouraged but not required.
The New Faculty Institute is a program hosted by the Teaching and Learning Center that provides professional development opportunities aimed at faculty in their first three years at K-State. Events are open to all K-State faculty.
