Building well-being together: K-State Health-Promoting University engagement sessions

Submitted by Lindsey Barragar

K-State's Health-Promoting University initiative invites all students, faculty and staff to join upcoming engagement sessions focused on well-being and the Health-Promoting University. These sessions are a chance for the K-State community to come together, share ideas, and engage with the focus areas and initiatives that promote a healthier campus environment.

Each session will offer an inside look at current well-being initiatives, provide updates on progress and share the Health-Promoting University initiative's vision for a thriving campus. It's an ideal opportunity to learn about focus areas and hear about impactful projects that are helping make well-being a priority at K-State. Our goal is to create a campus where health and wellness are an integral part of daily life, benefiting everyone at K-State.

Participants are encouraged to share their insights, experiences and suggestions to actively shape the Health-Promoting University mission as it grows. By providing feedback, you'll help influence the programs and resources that support wellness on campus.

Engagement session details:

  • Noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 6, Room 201, Leadership Studies Building
  • 3-4 p.m. Nov. 21, Muir Room, K-State Student Union
  • Noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 6, Muir Room, K-State Student Union

Whether you're passionate about health or simply curious to learn more, we invite you to join us. Together, let's build a healthier, more connected K-State!
