Application open for the 2025 Grad Edge: Leadership Development Program

Submitted by Taylor Witt

The Graduate School works in partnership with the Staley School of Leadership to offer leadership development training to K-State master’s and doctoral students across disciplines. Applications are now being accepted for K-State graduate students to participate in the spring 2025 Grad Edge: Leadership Development Program.

This leadership development program supports graduate students in developing non-technical skills that contribute to their academic success and career preparedness, and also provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students to connect and build community with peers in other disciplines.

The Grad Edge program is based on design principles of shared exploration, self-reflection, and application. Through the various program elements, you will identify a relevant leadership challenge and apply concepts of adaptive leadership to find solutions. You will also:

  • Examine your leadership mindset
  • Identify and leverage your leadership strengths
  • Build your capacity to relate to and work with others
  • Explore drivers of systems change
  • Identify opportunities to be a change agent within and beyond the university

The spring 2025 program will be offered in a hybrid format. Please visit the program website for more information and to apply. The application deadline is Dec. 6.

Additionally, the Staley School of Leadership will offer a Leading Change workshop series in the spring 2025 semester. All K-State graduate students are welcome to attend any of these workshops. Application is not required for students who only plan to participate in the workshop series.
