Finalists announced for assistant vice provost for faculty affairs position

The search committee for the assistant vice provost for faculty affairs announces three finalists who will interview for the position and invites you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.
- Cory Forbes, professor and associate dean for research, College of Education, University of Texas at Arlington, will interview on Dec. 12. The open forum will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the McVay Family Town Hall, Room 114 of the Leadership Studies Building.
- Dale Miller, professor and associate dean of graduate studies and faculty affairs, College of Arts and Letters, Old Dominion University, will interview on Dec. 16. The open forum will be from 11 a.m. to noon in the McVay Family Town Hall, Room 114 of the Leadership Studies Building.
- Marci McMahon, professor and executive director of the Center for Faculty Development, University of Houston Clear Lake, will interview on Dec. 17. The open forum will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the McVay Family Town Hall, Room 114 of the Leadership Studies Building.
K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum — "Elevating faculty success and belonging in a culture of change" — and Q&A session.
The application materials and open forum information for each candidate are available on the academic affairs and innovation website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. Also, for those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the above website.
There will also be an online candidate feedback survey on the search website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two days following the candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.
Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Thursday, Dec 19.
