New career platform empowers business students
The College of Business Administration has partnered with uConnect to build a virtual career platform for students to explore career opportunities, connect with employers and corporate partners, and effortlessly access career resources.
Through the virtual career platform, students will be able to:
- Find career advice specific to their area of interest under "Career Paths" in the main menu.
- Explore open jobs and internships and find employers currently hiring K-State business students.
- Get help and support with key career development areas in the "Resources" section.
- Keep up with the latest industry news and learn about upcoming career related events
- Schedule an appointment with a career coach and learn about other career related programs.
"We are excited to launch a new virtual career platform in partnership with uConnect, giving business students tailored access to the latest career insights, opportunities and resources," said Kurt Roberts, director of career development. "Designed to match platforms at top business schools, this hub will empower our students to navigate the career search with enhanced ease and confidence."
One of the newest features is the students’ ability to tailor the content they receive based on preferences — in about two minutes, students can customize email alerts to receive automated notifications for new jobs, resources, and events that are important and purposeful.
