K-State College of Agriculture alumni and faculty awards nominations now open

The Kansas State University College of Agriculture is now accepting nominations for its 2025 alumni and faculty awards to recognize exceptional individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, commitment and distinction in their profession, community and the College of Agriculture. These awards honor living alumni and faculty who embody the college's tradition of excellence.
Nominations are open through March 14. Self-nominations are welcome. The award categories include:
- Distinguished Alumnus Award: Recognizes alumni 45 or older who have achieved outstanding career accomplishments, contributed to their community, state or nation, and have demonstrated humanitarian service. Service to the university and College of Agriculture is a plus but not required.
- Outstanding Young Alumnus Award: Honors alumni younger than 45 who have excelled in their careers, contributed to their communities and demonstrated a commitment to humanitarian service. As with the Distinguished Alumnus Award, service to the university is considered but not mandatory.
- David Mugler Outstanding Teaching Award: Established to honor the late David Mugler, this award recognizes a faculty member in the College of Agriculture who demonstrates exceptional dedication and care for students inside and outside the classroom.
The winners of these awards will be recognized during the College of Agriculture Alumni and Friends Reunion on April 12 in Manhattan.
