Kirmser Undergraduate Research Awards application now open

Applications are now open for the Kirmser Undergraduate Research Awards from K-State Libraries. These awards recognize students who have used library resources to complete a research project for a K-State course during the current academic year.

Applications are due on April 25. You can access the application guidelines and submit your materials on the Kirmser webpage.

Funded by a gift to K-State Libraries from Philip and Jeune Kirmser, the award program includes four major categories:

  • Individual freshman project — $1,500 award.
  • Individual nonfreshman undergraduate project — $1,500 award.
  • Continuing research project — $1,500 award.
  • Group project — $3,000 award minimum for the group.

Additional honorable mention awards will be granted $100 each.
