K-State Proud offers Student Opportunity Awards
Do you know of a student that is at risk of leaving Kansas State University because he or she has exhausted all financial resources? K-State Proud is here to help.
K-State Proud Awards are allocated by the Student Opportunity Award Committee in consultation with the student financial assistance office to provide financial assistance for students who have demonstrated extreme financial need or those who need temporary financial assistance.
Special consideration will be given to students whose future at K-State may be in jeopardy and to students who have exhausted all other forms of financial assistance. Students and faculty members are encouraged to nominate students in need, or students may nominate themselves. Applications must be received online and completed by the student being nominated. The awards are allocated throughout the year and student can apply on continuing basis.
As faculty and staff of K-State, we recognize the relationships you have built with students across campus and you are aware of the need of our students. The impact you have on educating students about these opportunities are great. If you are interested in nominating a student or forwarding information on to a student in need click here.
