Professor Siepl-Coates and graduate students to present at KU

Submitted by Thomas Jackson

Susanne Siepl-Coates

Professor Susanne Siepl-Coates and her graduate students from K-State's College of Architecture, Planning & Design, or APDesign, will present "Ideas on Intergenerational Living — A Studio Perspective" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 7 in Snow Hall at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.

For several years, Siepl-Coates taught intergenerational community design in graduate-level architectural design studios. Her interest in the topic comes in part from her deep knowledge of German and other European architectural and urban design cultures that have spawned many types of intergenerational communities across the continent over the past several decades.
