Public panel discussion: 'Military in the 21st Century'
The Institute for Military History and the security studies program at K-State have organized a public panel discussion on the "U.S. Military in the 21st Century" at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in the Big 12 Room of the K-State Student Union.
Under the auspices of the Eisenhower series college program, a group of senior officers and civilian staffers from the U.S. Army War College is visiting Kansas State University. The Eisenhower program attempts to build bridges between the U.S. military and American society by promoting exchanges between the Army War College and educational institutions.
Led by Air Force Col. Matthew Molineux, the half-dozen visitors will give guest lectures in classes, meet with students and take part in the panel discussion today. The public is welcome.
