State v. Bowman Live: A showcase trial of the Kansas State Mock Trial Team
After a winning performance at the American Mock Trial Association Regional Qualifier Tournament in Topeka, the K-State Mock Trial Team is headed to the association's Open Round Championship Tournament starting March 14.
To prepare for the upcoming first round of the national competition, the team will hold a practice trial offered in two parts. Part one of the trial will take place at 7:30 p.m. March 4 in the K-State Student Union Flint Hills Room. The trial will continue at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in 301 Hale Library.
Before the national tournament, the association heavily changes facts of the case by adding new facts, witnesses and charges. Now, in addition to being charged with robbery and theft by deception, the defendant is being charged with murder. Come see State v. Bowman tried by the Sunflower State champions, the K-State Mock Trial Team.
The trial is open to the public. We invite all interested students to come see the Mock Trial Cats in action.
